Use case
Legacy code repair
A pass, not a rewrite
Older repos often fail a first read because of debugger statements, unused bindings, and imports that point at files that are gone. CodeSync SI's diagnose names those. The safe repair fixes only the debugger statements and the unused bindings. A missing import stays a finding because inventing the file would be a guess.
Upload a zip on any hosted plan, or run pnpm codesync repair . --apply locally for free. On Extreme, a GitHub pull request can carry that same safe diff. You should still read the diff before you merge it.
Limits that matter on an old tree
Standard accepts up to 5 MB and 200 files. Expert goes to 25 MB and 2,000 files. Extreme goes to 100 MB and 8,000 files. Dependency folders and build output are skipped by the same ignore rules the local scanner uses. A monorepo larger than the plan's cap will be rejected instead of partially scanned.
