What is CodeSync SI in one sentence?

CodeSync SI is an engineering desk that scans a repository, diagnoses a fixed set of problems, applies only safe repairs, reviews the result, and generates code.

Who is CodeSync SI for?

Developers who want that pass on a real tree: locally with Ollama at no charge, or on a hosted plan when they want queues, history, GitHub, and a larger model.

How much does CodeSync SI cost?

The desktop app and CLI are free. Hosted plans are Standard at $30 per month, Expert at $50 per month, and Extreme at $80 per month. There is no free cloud tier.

Do I need a paid model key?

No for local use. Ollama is the default. Hosted projects use Cloudflare Workers AI included with the plan, or a key you bring for OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, or Groq.

Is there a free cloud plan?

No. The desktop app and CLI stay free. Creating a hosted project requires Standard, Expert, or Extreme.

What does a safe repair change?

It removes debugger statements and renames unused bindings. It does not install packages, delete a module, or rewrite an architecture.

What happens if the hosted model fails?

The error is saved on the run. Generate falls back to the built-in template and says so. Diagnose still returns the deterministic findings.

How does CodeSync SI compare with GitHub Copilot or Cursor?

Copilot and Cursor help while you type inside an editor. CodeSync SI runs a separate scan, diagnose, safe repair, review, and generate pass. It is not an inline autocomplete replacement. See the comparison pages.

Does the security audit replace Snyk or SonarQube?

No. Expert and Extreme look for a few concrete patterns: AWS key ids, live Stripe secret keys, PEM private keys, wildcard or latest dependency ranges, and a missing lockfile, plus the engine diagnose. They do not ship a CVE database or a quality gate with thousands of rules.

Can I cancel?

Yes, from the billing page. Stripe's customer portal is the source of truth. When the subscription is canceled or past due, the desk becomes read-only.

Do you train on my repository?

No. Project files are stored in Cloudflare R2 so the engine can run. They are not used to train a model by this product. A local Ollama run stays on your machine.

Which plan should I pick?

Extreme, if you want the hosted desk. It is the only plan with the priority queue, missions, pull-request auto-fix, the API, daily watchdog, and the largest default hosted model.

More detail sits on the comparison pages and the use cases.
