CodeSync SI vs SonarQube
The short version
SonarQube analyzes code with a large rule catalog, quality gates, and CI integration across many languages. CodeSync SI does not ship that catalog. Its diagnose looks for empty files, broken relative imports, debugger statements, eval, unused bindings, and files nothing else imports.
Choose SonarQube when you need an established quality gate. Choose CodeSync SI when you also want a safe repair diff, a local Ollama run, or the hosted desk at $30, $50, or $80 per month.
Do not treat the diagnose as a SonarQube gate
A green CodeSync SI review is not a SonarQube quality gate. The review score comes from this engine's findings. It will not catch every bug, injection, or style rule SonarQube documents. Sonar publishes its own editions and rules; check sonarsource.com for the current product.
